₹2100 Monthly Financial Aid for Orphan Children: DC Preeti

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Preeti has informed that the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment is providing ₹2100 monthly financial assistance per child (for a maximum of two children) to orphaned children in Haryana.


Who Can Benefit from the Scheme?

Children aged 0 to 21 years are eligible if they are left without care due to:

  • Death of the father
  • Father missing for more than 2 years
  • Parents serving long-term imprisonment
  • Parents suffering from severe mental or physical disability

Documents Required

Applicants need to submit the following:

  • Father’s death certificate OR 100% disability certificate
  • Police missing report (7+ years) / Court divorce order / Proof of imprisonment (2+ years)
  • Haryana domicile proof (Voter ID, Ration Card, or Family ID)
  • Income certificate (annual family income ≤ ₹2 lakh)

Who is Not Eligible?

  • Children whose parents or guardians are already receiving a government family pension cannot avail of this scheme.

How to Apply?

Eligible applicants can apply through:

  • Antyodaya Saral Kendras
  • Atal Seva Kendras
  • Common Service Centres (CSCs)

Applications must include self-attested copies of all documents.
