37th Haryana Inter Polytechnic Athletics Competition

The 37th Haryana Inter Polytechnic Athletics Competition was held at Government Polytechnic, Jhajjar, from March 18, 2025, to March 20, 2025. In this prestigious event, eight students from Guru Gobind Singh Government Polytechnic, Cheeka (Kaithal), delivered an outstanding performance, securing a total of four medals and achieving third place at the state level.

A total of five boys and three girls participated from the institution, with the female athletes particularly excelling and bringing pride to their institute by winning medals. The team was guided by Mr. Sunil Saroha, Dr. Leena Garg, Mr. Deshraj Dhiman, Mr. Anup Banwala, Mr. Keval, and Mr. Balraj.

Among the medal winners, Manpreet, Mamta, and Sanjana stood out with their exceptional achievements. Manpreet clinched the gold medal in the 400-meter race, while Mamta secured silver medals in both the 400-meter and 100-meter races. Sanjana showcased her talent by winning the bronze medal in the high jump event. Their dedication, hard work, and determination played a key role in their success.

This victory is a testament to the relentless efforts and commitment of the students towards sports. The institute’s principal, faculty members, and students congratulated the winners and expressed hopes for even better performances in the future.

Expressing his pride over this achievement, Principal Devender Rana stated, “This is a moment of great pride for all of us. These students have proven that with hard work and proper guidance, any goal can be achieved. We wish them all the best for their future endeavors.”

In conclusion, Principal Devender Rana honored and encouraged all participants and medalists, motivating them to actively participate in sports and aim for even greater success in upcoming competitions.
