AAP Flags Off Flood Relief Material from Sarna to Affected Villages
Pathankot, August 29, 2025 – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday flagged off trucks carrying essential relief material from the Radha Soami Satsang Ghar, Beas Centre at Sarna. The aid is being sent to flood-affected areas including Bamiyal and Narot Jaimal Singh in Pathankot district, where several families are struggling with the aftermath of recent floods.
Relief Trucks Sent to Flood-Hit Families
The relief convoy, loaded with food items, medical supplies, and other essentials, was dispatched in the presence of several senior AAP leaders. Among those present were Swaran Salaria, Vice President AAP Punjab; Amandeep Sandhu, District President AAP Pathankot; Vibhuti Sharma, Halka Incharge Pathankot; Rekha Mani Sharma, Incharge Majha Zone; Baljinder Kaur, Block President; Sunil Gupta, Chairman PESCO Punjab; Amarjit Contractor, along with other party office-bearers.
Party Leaders Highlight Commitment
Speaking on the occasion, Amandeep Sandhu, District President of AAP, said that the party’s organization is fully committed to reaching every affected family. “Our teams and volunteers are ensuring that medical facilities and relief material are delivered directly to the flood-affected households,” he stated. He also added that relief support collected from Ludhiana has now been delivered to affected families in Pathankot.

Chief Minister’s Assurance to Flood Victims
Swaran Salaria, Vice President of AAP Punjab, recalled that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had personally visited the flood-affected areas recently and assured all possible assistance to the people. He said that relief material is also being sent from other districts of Punjab, showing solidarity across the state.
Salaria thanked AAP workers and volunteers who are working tirelessly at the ground level. “We are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people in this difficult time. The dedication of our party workers proves that AAP is committed to the welfare of Punjab,” he added.
United Effort for Relief and Rehabilitation
The initiative reflects AAP’s coordinated effort to ensure timely support, medical assistance, and rehabilitation for families struggling due to floods. With active involvement from party leaders and workers, the campaign is expected to cover more villages in the coming days.
