The EditorFarmers Invited to Apply for Subsidy on Crop Residue Equipment
Guhla-Cheeka, August 8:
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Captain Parmesh Singh has announced that under the Crop Residue Management (CRM) scheme, selected farmers will receive subsidies on modern agricultural equipment for the year 2025–26. Applications must be submitted online by August 20 on the official portal www.agriharyana.gov.in.
50% Subsidy on Modern Farm Equipment
The primary aim of the scheme is to manage crop residue (stubble) and keep the environment clean.
Farmers falling under the individual category will be provided 50% subsidy on listed agricultural machinery. Beneficiaries will be selected by the District-Level Executive Committee. Once selected, farmers can purchase equipment from approved manufacturers.
12 Machines Included Under CRM Scheme
Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Kanchan Kumari informed that 12 types of agricultural machines have been included under the CRM scheme, including:
- Super Straw Management System
- Happy Seeder / Smart Seeder
- Paddy Straw Chopper / Shredder / Mulcher
- Rotary Slasher / Shrub Master
- Hydraulic Reversible MB Plough / Zero Till Seed cum Fertilizer Drill
- Super Seeder
- Surface Seeder
- Straw Baler / Straw Rake
- FAP Reaper
- Loader
- Tedder Machine
