Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admissions Open Until July 29

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) located in village Titaram, Kaithal, has announced the admission process for Class 6 for the academic session 2026–27. According to Principal Suchita Gupta, eligible students can submit their online applications by July 29, 2025, via the official website www.navodaya.gov.in.

The JNV Selection Test for admission will be conducted on December 13, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible:

  • The student must be a bonafide resident of the district where the JNV is located.
  • The student should be studying in Class 5 during the 2025–26 session in a government or government-recognized school in the same district.
  • The student must have completed full academic sessions in Classes 3 and 4 from a recognized institution.
  • Date of birth should fall between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016.

Key Highlights of the School

Principal Gupta emphasized that the school provides free, modern, and quality education to talented students from rural backgrounds, from Class 6 to 12. The school operates as a co-educational, fully residential institution and offers:

  • Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls
  • Free meals, uniforms, textbooks, and other necessities
  • Holistic development through co-curricular activities, sports, NCC, NSS, and Scouts & Guides programs
