Art Competition Focused on Energy Conservation
Guhla-Cheeka – The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) organized a painting competition on the theme of energy conservation at Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Cheeka. The initiative aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of energy and encourage them to adopt an energy-efficient lifestyle.

395 Students Showcased Creativity
A total of 395 students participated in the competition, categorized according to their class levels. Through their creative artworks, the children depicted crucial themes such as energy conservation, renewable energy sources, and environmental protection. The colorful paintings reflected their deep understanding and concern for the environment.
Inspiring Young Minds for a Sustainable Future
Eco Club in-charge, Laxmi Narayan, appreciated the initiative, saying, “If we educate the youth today, we can secure our energy future tomorrow.” The competition helped young students understand how their small actions can contribute to saving energy and protecting the planet.
Judges Praised Students’ Artistic Efforts
Teachers Sunita Rani and Manpreet Kaur served as judges for the competition. They highly appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm shown by the students, emphasizing that such activities develop both awareness and artistic skills among children.
