Subjects and Evaluation Process

According to District Education Officer Vijay Laxmi, examiner Roshan Lal from Government Senior Secondary School Kasour supervised the evaluation process. On the first day (September 15), students appeared for the Hindi subject assessment, while the second day (September 16) will be dedicated to the Mathematics evaluation.

Purpose of the Census-Based Exam

The main objective of this initiative is to assess the actual learning level of students under the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Mission. The findings will help teachers design corrective strategies and improve the overall teaching-learning process.

A Diagnostic Exercise, Not a Formal Exam

Cluster Head Shri Satish Ladana Chakku clarified that this is a diagnostic exercise rather than a formal examination. It will identify students’ reading, comprehension, and calculation skills, enabling teachers to create effective teaching plans.

Participation of Staff and Teachers

Teachers including Gurdeep Urlana, Shishpal Sair, Surjit Kharkan, and Deepak Kumar, along with other staff members, were present during the evaluation process to ensure smooth conduct of the exams.
