Couple Kidnapping Case: Accused Arrested by Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff
Kaithal police have arrested another accused in the Titaram couple kidnapping case, bringing relief to the victim’s family. The action was carried out by the Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff under the supervision of SI Pradeep Kumar and team in-charge SI Jaibhagwan.

Complaint and Kidnapping Incident
According to the complaint lodged by a resident of a village under the Titaram Police Station, his son and daughter-in-law were kidnapped on the evening of August 26. While returning from Kaithal to their village on a motorcycle, an unidentified group intercepted them using a Brezza car and abducted both.
A case was immediately registered at Titaram Police Station.
Swift Police Action
Acting on the instructions of SP Astha Modi, the police arrested one of the accused, Sunil from Budhakheda village in Jind district, on August 27. The kidnapped couple was rescued safely the same day.
Police investigations revealed that Sunil knew the woman and was pressuring her into a relationship. The woman, however, was happy in her married life and rejected his advances. In a desperate move, Sunil abducted the couple with the intention of harming the husband and coercing the woman into living with him.
Second Accused Arrested
During further investigation, police arrested Anoop alias Dillu, resident of Badhchapar village in Hisar district, who was Sunil’s friend and actively involved in the kidnapping.
Both accused have been presented in court, and Anoop has been sent to judicial custody following court orders.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the matter is being thoroughly investigated, and strict action is being taken against those involved in such heinous crimes.
