D.A.V. College Cheeka’s Smile Sharma Wins Gold at District Arm Wrestling Championship

Smile Sharma, a student of B.A. First Year at D.A.V. College Cheeka, has brought laurels to the college by winning the gold medal in a district-level arm wrestling competition. The information was shared by Professor Neelam Devi from the Department of Health and Physical Education.

She informed that Smile Sharma secured first place in the Kapisthal Gym Kaithal Open Tournament held on April 6, 2025. The competition, conducted at the district level in Kaithal, featured participants in the 85 to 95 kg weight category.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Jasbir Singh, congratulated the athlete and encouraged him, stating that the college’s players have consistently showcased their talent at both district and state levels, bringing pride to the institution.
