DAV School Organizes Cleanliness Drive, Celebrates Swachhata Pakhwada
Cheeka, September 27 – DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Cheeka, observed Swachhata Pakhwada by organizing a large-scale cleanliness drive. The initiative was inaugurated by Principal DAV School Cheeka Rakesh Kumar inside the school campus. Teachers and staff actively participated, cleaning both the school premises and nearby roads.
Awareness on Waste Segregation
During the campaign, Principal DAV School Cheeka Rakesh Kumar raised awareness among students, teachers, and staff about waste management. He emphasized the importance of separating wet and dry waste, avoiding littering on streets, and handing garbage directly to sanitation workers. He also highlighted that compost can be made from kitchen waste at home, which is beneficial for cleanliness and essential for environmental conservation.

Appeal to Youth for Environmental Service
Principal DAV School Cheeka Rakesh Kumar Rakesh Kumar appealed to the youth to join such initiatives for building a healthy, eco-friendly society and contributing to environmental protection. He urged students to adopt cleanliness as a lifestyle practice and discourage the use of single-use plastics in their homes.
