The EditorKaithal, May 6 – Deputy Commissioner Preeti stated that the Dayalu Scheme, officially known as the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana, is becoming a lifeline for Antyodaya families across Haryana. This government aid program ensures economic security for families with an annual income of up to ₹1.80 lakh in the unfortunate event of death or permanent disability of a family member.
This family welfare initiative provides financial support based on the age of the deceased or disabled member:
- Age 6–12 years: ₹1 lakh
- Age 12–18 years: ₹2 lakh
- Age 18–25 years: ₹3 lakh
- Age 25–45 years: ₹5 lakh
- Age 45–60 years: ₹3 lakh
DC Preeti informed that eligible families must apply within three months of the incident. The online application process is available at www.dapsy.finhry.gov.in. Applicants must enter their PPP ID, generate an OTP, and fill in required details to access benefits under the Haryana government scheme.
Citizens were urged to beware of agents and fraudsters. This government initiative aims to bring timely death support and aid in cases of disability, ensuring that Antyodaya families do not suffer additional financial burdens.
