Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign to Ignite Patriotism Ahead of Independence Day

Deputy Commissioner Preeti has urged the public to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the lead-up to Indiaโ€™s 79th Independence Day. The initiative, part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, aims to foster patriotism, honor national symbols, and encourage citizen involvement.

Speaking in a meeting with officials from various departments, DC Preeti emphasized that this campaign will run in three key phases from August 8 to August 15 and will involve community engagement at all levels.


Campaign Highlights and Activities

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will feature a variety of patriotic events, including:

  • Tiranga Rangoli competitions at schools, colleges, and public spaces
  • Patriotic exhibitions in government buildings and institutions
  • Tiranga selfie points for citizens to click photos and upload them on www.harghartiranga.com
  • Sending tricolor-themed rakhis and letters to soldiers in the Army, Navy, and Air Force
  • Letters by students to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini
  • Rallies and Tiranga cycle events to build national spirit

Cleanliness Drives in Government Offices

From August 9 to 11, a special cleanliness campaign will be conducted in all government offices.

  • Offices showing excellent results will be honored, while
  • Departments with poor hygiene will face action against officials.

This segment also focuses on linking families of martyrs to the campaign, recognizing their supreme sacrifices for the country.


Campaign Phases at a Glance

๐Ÿ”ถ Phase 1 (Till August 8):

  • Schools to decorate walls and boards with Tiranga-inspired art
  • Launch of exhibitions in educational institutions and public buildings

๐Ÿ”ถ Phase 2 (August 9โ€“12):

  • Tiranga rallies and cycle rallies
  • Swachhta Abhiyan in all government offices
  • Honors for clean workplaces

๐Ÿ”ถ Phase 3 (August 13โ€“15):

  • Hoisting of the national flag in all public and private buildings
  • Citizens encouraged to click selfies with the flag and upload them to the portal

A National Spirit with Local Action

DC Preeti emphasized that the campaignโ€™s primary aim is to deepen the spirit of patriotism, respect for the national flag, and awareness of national symbols.

She called upon all departments to fulfill their responsibilities sincerely and encouraged the public to participate with energy and enthusiasm.
