E-Compensation Applications to Be Verified on Ground Reports
Guhla-Cheeka, September 15 – Naib Tehsildar Bansilal, under the guidance of DC and SDM Captain Pramesh Singh, chaired a meeting with all patwaris and kanungos of Guhla block at the tehsil office. He instructed revenue staff to dispose of mutation and jamabandi work on time and verify all applications received on the E-Compensation Portal only after on-site field inspections of crop losses. Reports must be submitted to the office by September 25 without delay.
Strict Vigil Against Crop Residue Burning
During the meeting, Bansilal emphasized that patwaris and kanungos must remain vigilant against incidents of stubble burning. They were directed to conduct regular awareness meetings in villages with panchs, sarpanchs, and farmers. He warned that if farmers are found burning stubble, they will face penalties, FIRs, and a red entry in the “Meri Fasal-Mera Byora” portal, which would prevent them from selling their crops.
Appeal to Farmers: Use Stubble for Soil Fertility
Naib Tehsildar also appealed to farmers to avoid stubble burning and instead mix it into the soil to improve land fertility. He suggested using straw baler machines for proper stubble management, which can also help farmers increase their income.
Instructions to Revenue Officials
Revenue staff were further directed to prepare Naksha K, Kh, and Ga on time to ensure the disposal of pending cases. They were also asked to complete Tatima cutting work within September.
