Employee Flees After Stealing ₹5 Lakh Worth of Mobile Phones in Cheeka

Guhla Cheeka: A shocking case of theft has surfaced in Cheeka, where a young employee working at a mobile repair shop allegedly stole mobile phones worth nearly ₹5 lakh and disappeared.

According to reports, the accused not only stole from the shop owner but also purchased expensive mobile phones from nearby stores using the shop’s name before vanishing. The shop owner has filed a complaint at the Cheeka police station, and a case has been registered against the accused.

Stolen Mobiles from Other Shops

Vinod Kumar, a resident of Bhusla village and owner of Three B Mobile Repair on Hafed Road, Cheeka, reported that he had hired Satnam Singh, a resident of Narwana, two months ago for mobile repairs. Two days ago, the accused procured phones worth around ₹4.75 lakh from nearby shops under Vinod’s name.

Accused’s Room Found Locked

Vinod stated that the accused took all the stolen mobile phones to his rented room in Cheeka. When he failed to show up at work the next morning, Vinod tried calling him, but his phone was switched off. Upon visiting his room, he found it locked.

Police investigation officer Sandeep Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Further action will be taken based on the findings.
