First Aid Training: A Key to Employment
Guhla Cheeka, September 27, 2025 – St. John Ambulance International Association India, a world-class institution, is training youth in first aid to equip them with life-saving skills during accidents and natural disasters. Speaking at Bhagal Baba Pancham Puri School, Haryana branch master trainer and gold medalist Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar highlighted that youth trained in first aid get priority in employment sectors both in India and abroad.

Building a Spirit of Service and Responsibility
Dr. Jhinjar emphasized that beyond employment, this training instills a spirit of volunteerism and service in young people. During the session, 25 participants were trained in first aid and CPR techniques, focusing on emergency response and accident management.
He noted that despite rapid scientific progress, road accidents are still increasing due to human negligence. At such times, trained first aiders play a crucial role in saving lives by applying their skills and quick judgment.
Support from Educators and Trainers
School principal Jawahar Singh praised the initiative, calling such training the “need of the hour” for strengthening life security measures. Trainer Ramanpreet Kaur described the program as one of the most valuable skills for ensuring safety.

Practical CPR and Rescue Training
Participants also practiced CPR techniques on mannequins, learning how to shift injured or distressed individuals to safe locations or hospitals effectively.
The session saw active participation from youth including Gaurav, Ajay Kumar, Sujal, Manish Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Gurbakhsh Singh, Azad, Dharampreet, Ramandeep Singh, Ramanpreet, Bulbul, Rajat Kumar, Ayush Sharma, and Chetan Sharma.
