Four Arrested in Murderous Attack Case

Police Investigation and Arrests

Kaithal, September 19 – In connection with a murderous attack case, a team led by SI Subhash Chandra of Titaram Police Station arrested four accused – Ankesh, Mithun, Vicky, and Jitender Singh, all residents of village Saran.

Complaint by Victim’s Family

According to the complaint lodged by Ramkishan Singh, a resident of Saran, his nephew Kulmeet was taking buffaloes towards the village pond when one of the animals moved towards Ankesh’s house. Angered by this, Ankesh started abusing and assaulting Kulmeet.

When Ramkishan tried to intervene, Ankesh, Mithun, and 8–10 others attacked him. Ankesh and Mithun allegedly struck him with axes (gandasi) on the head and arm. As a result, he lost consciousness and collapsed.

Hospitalization and Case Registration

The injured victim was rushed to the Government Hospital, Kaithal, for treatment. Based on the complaint, a case was registered at Titaram Police Station.

Police Custody and Further Action

The court granted two-day police remand for Ankesh and Mithun for detailed interrogation. Police have confirmed that further legal action is being pursued against all the accused.
