Free Healthcare for Families Under Ayushman and Chirayu Plans

Government’s Big Step for Public Health

Kaithal, April 27 — In a significant move, Deputy Commissioner Preeti announced that Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Ayushman Haryana are greatly benefiting eligible families by providing free and easy healthcare access. These initiatives reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong commitment to meeting the health needs of Indian citizens.

The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) was launched to help families get cashless and paperless medical services across the country. It offers annual medical benefits of up to ₹5 lakh per family. Beneficiaries simply need to show their Ayushman Card at any empanelled hospital to access treatments without paying.

Importantly, both secondary and tertiary healthcare services are covered under this scheme, ensuring comprehensive medical support for families in need.

Haryana’s Big Leap with Chirayu Ayushman

Building on the success of Ayushman Bharat, the Haryana government launched the Chirayu Ayushman Haryana scheme in November 2022. This step extended benefits to even more families, especially those with lower verified incomes.

Families with an annual verified income below ₹1.8 lakh are automatically included. Their details are collected by the National Health Agency to ensure smooth processing. Families earning between ₹1.8 lakh and ₹3 lakh annually can also join by paying a nominal premium of ₹1,500 per year.

However, these families must renew their cards yearly by paying the premium again. It is a simple process that keeps healthcare within everyone’s reach.

Applications for Chirayu Ayushman Haryana can be easily submitted through the official portal: https://chirayuayushmanharyana.in/.

Easy Access to Ayushman Cards

Deputy Commissioner Preeti also explained how beneficiaries can create their Ayushman Cards themselves. By downloading the app from Google Play Store, users can log in as a beneficiary and generate the card from their mobile phones, sitting at home.

To generate the card, the applicant must have their Aadhaar Card, Family ID, and a mobile number linked to the Aadhaar. This setup makes the system fast and user-friendly.

Those who prefer offline assistance can visit their nearest Atal Seva Kendra. The card generation service is also available on the official National Health Authority portal: https://beneficiary.nha.gov.in.

Special Benefits for Senior Citizens

The government has extended further support to senior citizens. People aged 70 and above can avail free healthcare services under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Eligible seniors can generate their cards using the same online portal mentioned above, ensuring no one is left out of the system. This step highlights the government’s dedication to protecting the health of the elderly.

A Call to Action for Eligible Families

Deputy Commissioner Preeti urged all eligible families to make full use of the Chirayu Ayushman Haryana scheme. Health is a basic need, and with government support, it becomes a right rather than a privilege.

The process has been made incredibly easy — online portals, mobile apps, and assistance centers are available at every step. Eligible families should not miss the chance to secure their health and well-being through these government-backed programs.

Conclusion: A Healthier Tomorrow

With initiatives like Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Ayushman Haryana, the dream of accessible healthcare for every citizen is becoming a reality. Through simple processes and strong government support, families can now safeguard themselves against high medical costs without hassle.

In a world where health is wealth, schemes like these are a game-changer, bringing hope and security to millions.
