Guhla Traffic Awareness Program Educates Students on Road Safety
A special traffic awareness program was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Guhla, under the guidance of SP Aastha Modi, as part of an ongoing campaign to promote road safety and traffic rule enforcement.
The session was led by SHO Traffic Inspector Naresh Kumar, along with Advocate Sukhchain Singh and Gurjeet Singh (PLV, Legal Team). They educated students in detail about the importance of traffic rules and how these rules can save lives.
Inspector Naresh Kumar explained the significance of obeying traffic signals, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding over-speeding, and never driving under the influence. He warned that even a small mistake on the road can prove fatal, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to traffic rules.
He urged students to become ambassadors of road safety—not just by following the rules themselves, but also by spreading awareness among their families and communities. The goal, he stressed, is to reduce road accidents through informed and responsible behavior.
The program served as a vital step in equipping the younger generation with knowledge that can help build a safer future on the roads.
