Guhla-Cheeka: In view of the rising cases of dengue in the region, the Health Department has intensified its preventive measures.
Dr. Tejendra from the Government Hospital, Guhla, informed that a massive awareness campaign is being conducted to educate people about dengue prevention and safety measures.

Health Teams Deployed for Door-to-Door Checks
The department has deployed 50 dedicated teams across villages and towns to conduct door-to-door inspections and identify suspected patients.
Village sarpanches and city councillors have been provided with fogging machines to help control mosquito-borne diseases effectively.
Testing and Treatment Facilities Strengthened
Dr. Tejendra stated that ELISA testing for dengue confirmation is available at the district level.
Rates for private hospital and lab testing have been standardized, but the final confirmation of dengue cases will only be based on reports from government hospitals.
Special beds have been reserved at Guhla Government Hospital to ensure timely treatment for dengue patients.
Public Urged to Stay Vigilant
The Health Department has appealed to the public not to let water stagnate around their homes and to seek immediate medical attention in case of fever, body ache, or other dengue-like symptoms.
