Kaithal Cyber Fraud: Acting on the directions of SP Upasana, the district police have successfully arrested a fraudster who was duping people by pretending to install UPI scanners. The CIA-1 team apprehended the accused for cheating shopkeepers out of their mobile phones and money across several states.

Complaint Filed by Victim from Bhagal Village

Police spokesperson stated that the investigation began after a complaint by Devender, a resident of Bhagal village, was lodged at Cheeka Police Station.
According to the complaint, on October 19, an unidentified man approached the shopkeeper, claiming to be a โ€œUPI scanner technicianโ€ and offered to help him set up a scanner for payments.
