Kaithal Police Intensify ‘Drug-Free District’ Campaign
Under the leadership of SP Aastha Modi and the supervision of DSP Kuldeep Beniwal, Kaithal Police launched a major operation against suspected drug peddlers on Sunday. The action was part of the ongoing “Drug-Free District” campaign.
Joint Search Operation in Two Villages
The special drive targeted the villages of Ramthali and Daban Kheri in the Guhla police station area. Led by SHO Guhla Inspector Sunil Kumar, SHO Cheeka PSI Aman, and Ramthali Police Post in-charge ASI Manish Kumar, seven police teams—comprising around 70 personnel—conducted an intensive search operation. The teams were supported by sniffer dogs and commando units to ensure thorough checks.

50 Houses Searched, Suspects Monitored
During the operation, police carried out in-depth searches of nearly 50 houses. Officers also engaged directly with locals to identify and verify suspected drug peddlers, maintaining close watch on suspicious activities in the area.
Clear Message to Criminals
SP Aastha Modi emphasized that the campaign aims to strengthen security and instill fear among criminals. The primary target, she stated, is to dismantle drug networks operating in Kaithal district.
She warned that no individual involved in drug trafficking would be spared and assured that the police are prepared to take strict measures—regardless of the scale of the action required.
Appeal to the Public
SP Modi urged residents to cooperate with the police by promptly reporting any drug-related activities. “Public support is crucial to eliminating this menace from society,” she said, reaffirming the department’s commitment to making Kaithal a drug-free district.
