Massive Action Against Suspected Drug Peddlers

Kaithal, August 23 โ€” Under the โ€œNasha Mukt Ho Zilaโ€ campaign, Kaithal Police carried out a major crackdown on suspected drug peddlers across Rajound, Kalayat, Pundri, and Cheeka areas on Saturday.

The drive was conducted under the guidance of SP Aastha Modi and supervision of DSP Kuldeep Beniwal. Nearly 100 police officers and personnel were divided into 10 teams to ensure effective action.

50 Houses Raided in Joint Operation

During the operation, police raided around 50 houses in different villages and conducted thorough checks. The teams closely monitored suspicious activities and interacted with villagers, including youth and senior citizens, to identify individuals linked to drug trafficking.

Public Awareness on Drug-Free Society

Along with raids, police also spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction. Locals were urged to keep away from drugs and actively support efforts to build a drug-free district.

SP Aastha Modi stated that such intensive actions will continue until the district is free from drugs. She emphasized that the main aim of the campaign is to tighten the noose around drug traffickers and completely eradicate the menace.

Police Appeal for Public Support

Kaithal Police appealed to citizens to report any information about drug trafficking or related activities. Authorities stressed that public cooperation is vital in creating a healthier, drug-free society.
