Kaithal Police Tightens Grip on Illegal Liquor Smugglers

Police Crackdown on Illegal Liquor Trade

On the orders of SP Upasana, Kaithal Police tightened its grip on illegal liquor smugglers, arresting five accused in separate cases. Police recovered 1422 liquor bottles, 660 liters of lahan, and equipment used in running distilleries during the raids.

Case 1: Huge Beer Haul in Titaram

ASI Kuldeep Kumar and HC Ajay Kumar from Titaram Police received a secret tip-off and intercepted a Bolero vehicle near Harsoula Mor. The accused, Rajendra, a resident of Chhattaria village in Sirsa, was caught with 105 cartons containing 1260 beer bottles.

Case 2: Illegal Distillery Busted in Kalayat

PSI Mannu Singh’s team raided the house of Balraj Singh, a resident of Badisikri village. The police recovered a functioning illegal distillery, 60 bottles of country liquor, 610 liters of lahan, and brewing equipment. The accused was arrested on the spot.

Case 3: Country Liquor Seized in Siwan

HC Baljeet Singh and HC Harpreet Singh raided the animal shed of Gurdev Singh in Kakheri village. They seized 57.5 bottles of country liquor from his possession.

Case 4: 150 Liters of Lahan Confiscated

In another case, ASI Rambilas Singh’s team raided the animal shed of Kashmir Singh in Kakheri village. Police recovered 150 liters of lahan stored in a plastic drum.

Case 5: Liquor Seized in Civil Lines

HC Hardayal Singh and his team raided a shop in Gadad Patti, Kaithal. The accused, Bajrang Giri, was arrested with 178 pouches of country liquor packed in four cartons.

Legal Action Underway

Police spokesperson stated that all five accused have been booked under separate cases, and further legal action is being taken as per law.
