Preserving Heritage Under Seva Pakwada

Dr. Sharma highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, numerous development projects are being carried out across the state. As part of Seva Pakwada, around 20 historic sites and baolis are set for restoration, including Kaithal’s Brick Baoli.

He emphasized that the Baoli is not only an important traditional water conservation system but also a vital part of Kaithal’s cultural heritage. The government is committed to preserving historical monuments, ensuring that future generations can connect with their legacy.

Project Details and Facilities

CTM Gurvindra Singh informed that the centuries-old Baoli, located near the old Civil Hospital, holds significant historical and cultural value. After restoration, it will regain its past glory.

The project will include structural repair, sanitation facilities, benches, signage, shaded areas, and lighting. Traditional methods will be used for structural assessment and reinforcement of weak sections to preserve its authenticity.
