Election Committee member Kulwant Rai stated that the newly elected president, Karam Chand Garg, has been given the authority to form the rest of the executive committee. He is free to select other office bearers and members at his discretion. The elections were conducted peacefully under tight police security.

Ruldu Ram Faces Third Consecutive Defeat Due to Caste Factor

The caste factor played a significant role in the elections, which led to the victory of Karam Chand Garg from the Mahajan community, while Ruldu Ram from the Prajapat community faced his third consecutive defeat. It is noteworthy that Ruldu Ram had contested for the President’s position twice before but was unable to secure a win, as the Mahajan community-backed candidates have consistently emerged victorious in the market association elections.
