Kaithal Police carried out a series of swift and effective operations across the district, arresting several accused involved in crimes ranging from attempted murder to abduction, drug trafficking, illegal liquor, and theft.

Brother Attacks Brother, Accused Arrested

In Haripura village, police arrested Sanjay alias Sanju for attempting to kill his own brother Ajay with an illegal firearm. The incident occurred after a heated argument, when the accused fired at Ajay, who narrowly escaped. Sanju fled the spot but was later caught by the Special Detective Unit. A country-made pistol and a cartridge were recovered from him. Police confirmed that Sanju is a habitual offender with multiple cases of robbery, extortion, and illegal weapons already registered. He has been sent to judicial custody.

The accused, Sunil from Budhakheda village, was arrested along with the car used in the crime. Investigation revealed that Sunil was forcing the woman into a relationship despite her refusal.
