Police Crackdown on Illegal Weapons

Under a special campaign ordered by SP Aastha Modi, the Kaithal police have intensified their crackdown on individuals involved in illegal arms possession.

Continuing these efforts, the Special Detective Unit has successfully arrested a suspect carrying an unauthorized firearm.

Arrest Made on Ambala Road

The arrest was carried out by the Special Detective Unit (SDU) of the Civil Lines Police Station.

Led by SI Ramesh Kumar, with HC Sandeep and team, officers were patrolling near Ambala Road, Kaithal.

During their patrol, the team received a tip-off from a reliable source regarding a suspicious youth carrying a weapon.

Accused Nabbed With 315-Bore Country-Made Pistol

The informant stated that a man was waiting near the bypass between Ambala Road and Dhand Road, possibly armed and awaiting someone.

Acting swiftly, the police raided the specified location.

The suspect, identified as Tinku alias Rinku from Rajound, was apprehended.

Upon inspection, a 315-bore country-made pistol was recovered from his possession.

Legal Action and Remand

The accused was immediately taken into custody, and a case under the Arms Act was registered at the Civil Lines Police Station.

ASI Rammehar, who was present at the scene, formally arrested the suspect.

Following the arrest, the police produced the accused in court on Tuesday and secured a one-day remand for further investigation.

Continued Efforts Under SP Modiโ€™s Directive

This arrest is part of a larger operation launched by SP Aastha Modi to target criminals involved in the illegal trade or possession of arms and ammunition.

The campaign aims to ensure safety by proactively eliminating threats posed by unauthorized weapons in public areas.

Police officials reiterated that such operations will continue across the district.

Community Urged to Remain Vigilant

Authorities also appealed to the general public to remain alert and report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighborhoods.

With citizensโ€™ cooperation and active police engagement, the goal is to maintain peace and prevent crime before it happens.

Conclusion: Strict Enforcement to Uphold Law

The arrest of Tinku alias Rinku sends a strong message to offenders dealing in illegal weapons.

Kaithal Police, under the leadership of SP Aastha Modi, remain determined to enforce law and order with zero tolerance for armed crime.

Further investigation is underway to determine if the accused is linked to any other criminal activities or networks.
