Kaithal, May 21 – Haryana’s Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi visited village Barta on Wednesday to console the grieving families of two minor children who were brutally murdered. He expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and assured the families of strict action against the culprits.
On behalf of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the minister announced a compensation of ₹2 lakh each for the victims’ families. He also directed the Social Welfare Officer to provide immediate financial aid under the Scheduled Caste Atrocities Prevention Act.

Speaking to villagers and media, Minister Bedi said, “The lives lost are irreplaceable, but we are committed to ensuring justice. No one involved will be spared.” He urged villagers to maintain peace and trust the administration. The minister became visibly emotional while meeting the families, who demanded strong punishment for the accused.
Instructions were issued to SDM Ajay Singh and DSPs Birbhan Singh and Sushil Kumar to ensure no guilty person escapes justice. So far, seven accused have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to identify any others involved.
