Cheeka Polytechnic Signs MoU to Boost Student Careers

Government Polytechnic, Cheeka has reached a proud milestone. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed with Pisasoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd., a company based in Mohali. This marks a big step in creating job-ready graduates.

The MoU focuses on providing quality industrial training and improving employment opportunities for final-year students of technical streams.

Training Insights Shared with Students

At the event, experts discussed why industrial training is important. Students were told about the right way to choose a training organization, what to expect, and how this training can help shape their careers.

It was a great learning moment for the students. They now understand how the right training at the right place can open doors to future success.

On-Spot Job Offers to Final-Year Students

The company also held interviews for final-year students of Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). Two students stood out and were offered jobs on the spot:

  • Sakshi (Computer Engineering)
  • Bhavish (ECE)

This instant success showed how such partnerships can lead directly to job offers and career starts.

Success at Campus Drive in Narwana

Earlier, another success story unfolded at Government Polytechnic, Narwana. A campus drive was held by ATL Battery, where seven students secured job offers. The salary package offered was ₹1.98 lakh per year.

Out of these:

  • Six students were from Electrical Engineering
  • One student was from Mechanical Engineering

This shows how different branches are getting solid placement opportunities thanks to active collaboration with industry.

A Proud Moment for the Institute

Principal Mr. Davinder Rana congratulated all the selected students and wished them success in their careers. He said this achievement is the result of the continuous efforts of the Training and Placement Department.

He praised the team for working hard to improve the skills of students and making them ready for real-world jobs.

With every new MoU and placement, Government Polytechnic, Cheeka is helping students take a strong step into the future. These industry connections are not just about jobs — they are about building confidence, learning new skills, and creating long-term careers.
