MP Naveen Jindal Donates ₹5 Lakh for Punjab Flood Victims
Kaithal, September 8:
Member of Parliament Naveen Jindal has extended support to flood-affected people of Punjab by donating ₹5 lakh. The cheque was handed over by Jindal House Kaithal in-charge Shankar Lal Goyal to BJP District President Jyoti Saini through Deputy Commissioner (DC) Preeti.
The occasion was also graced by former MLA Leela Ram and former Chairman Kailash Bhagat. DC Preeti expressed gratitude to MP Naveen Jindal for this humanitarian gesture and appealed to the public to contribute generously towards relief efforts. She urged people to cooperate with the district administration in sending essential relief materials to Punjab.

BJP District President Jyoti Saini stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, relief materials are continuously being sent to Punjab. She highlighted that MP Naveen Jindal’s donation of ₹5 lakh reflects the solidarity of Haryana with Punjab during this natural disaster.
Former MLA Leela Ram’s Statement
Former MLA Leela Ram appreciated Jindal’s contribution and said that the MP has shown true concern for the flood-hit people. He assured that more help will be extended in the future as needed. He also thanked CM Nayab Singh Saini and the BJP family for taking the lead in providing relief. He noted that Haryana villages are actively sending aid to Punjab, which has further strengthened the spirit of brotherhood.
Former Chairman Kailash Bhagat’s Views
Former Chairman Kailash Bhagat praised MP Jindal’s initiative and called it a commendable step. He said that in times of such disasters, collective support is crucial. Social and religious organizations of the district are also contributing significantly. He added that the tragedy in Punjab has destroyed businesses, farms, and homes, and hence, everyone must come forward to support relief efforts.
