Under the Nasha Mukt Haryana campaign, the Kaithal police are intensifying efforts to free society from drug abuse. Acting on the directions of SP Aastha Modi, police teams are conducting continuous awareness drives across the district.

Recently, a dedicated awareness team led by SI Karmbir, ASI Om Prakash, HC Sunil Kumar, woman constable Kismat, and SPOs Rajpal and Pradeep Kumar carried out door-to-door campaigns in Khushhal Majra, Nanakpur, Bubakpur, Angodh, and Khanpur. They visited households to educate residents about the harmful effects of drug use and urged them to support the mission.

DSP Kuldeep Beniwal shared that these teams are holding daily programs in different villages. The public has responded positively, praising the police for this welfare initiative.

“Drug addiction is a social evil that benefits no one,” DSP Beniwal said. “Anyone who falls into addiction can overcome it through strong willpower.”

While the police continue to crack down on drug traffickers, they are also helping addicts to quit by arranging counseling and rehabilitation support. Officials are appealing to young people to focus on sports or other positive activities to make their families and communities proud.

The police stressed that creating a drug-free and crime-free society requires collective action. Strict legal measures are being taken against drug dealers, but public cooperation is crucial to fully succeed.

Citizens are encouraged to share any information about drug-related activities with the police. All informants’ identities will be kept strictly confidential.
