Kaithal, October 14, 2025 — The St. John Ambulance International Association of India continues to play a leading role in promoting health, safety, social awareness, and community cooperation across the country. The association is dedicated to training children and citizens in essential health and safety skills.
Surprise Inspection by National President Dr. Rajpal Punia
During a surprise inspection of the district first aid training center in Kaithal, National President Dr. Rajpal Punia issued important directions to strengthen the center’s activities. He emphasized that in today’s modern era, every individual must learn first aid skills, as scientific advancements have brought comfort but also created new risks through misuse of technology.
Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar Appointed as District Secretary
In recognition of his experience and dedication, retired Gold Medalist Professor Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar was entrusted with the role of District Secretary of the St. John Ambulance Training Center. Dr. Punia highlighted that a trained first responder can transform a victim’s pain into relief by using available resources wisely at the scene of an accident — but without training, even a rescue attempt can turn fatal.
He assured full support to ensure all facilities for first aid training are available at the district office.
Preparing Youth as First Aid Volunteers
Master Trainer Omi Devi stated that through continuous training initiatives, many young volunteers will be prepared as primary medical responders, accelerating government development efforts.
Responsibility Builds Capability
Newly appointed District Secretary Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him, saying that “responsibility allows a person to fully utilize their skills and experience for public good.”
