Emergency Preparedness Measures Strengthened in Guhla-Cheeka

Guhla-Cheeka, May 9 – In light of the current situation, SDM Captain Pramesh Singh held a crucial meeting with officers from all departments in Guhla block. The purpose was to ensure emergency readiness and deliver clear instructions for quick response measures.

He instructed that no officer or employee should leave their station, as they may be assigned duties at any time without prior notice.

Loudspeakers and Sirens to Be Installed in All Areas

To boost communication during emergencies, village-level public announcement systems will be activated. The SDM directed the BDPO to assign village secretaries and patwaris the responsibility of installing loudspeakers and sirens in each village.

These systems will help spread verified information from the administration directly to people sitting at home. The SDM emphasized checking existing systems installed in Gurdwaras, temples, and banks to confirm functionality during critical situations.

Stop Rumors, Trust Official Sources Only

The SDM made a strong appeal to the public: “Do not believe in rumors.” Only trust information released by the district administration. He asked officials to coordinate with higher authorities and ensure people receive accurate details.

To prevent misinformation, at least one village secretary or patwari must be present in every village at all times.

Public Announcement Zones to Be Marked in Cities

Municipal officers were instructed to identify designated spots for setting up citywide public announcement systems. These will play a key role in ensuring that residents get timely and correct updates without confusion or panic.

Medical Readiness Also Reviewed

The SDM also sought details from the Senior Medical Officer about the availability of ambulances. Ensuring the readiness of emergency vehicles was seen as a top priority in managing any sudden situation.

Public Appeal: Stay Indoors, Donate Blood

In his message to the public, SDM Singh urged people not to step out unnecessarily. He also highlighted the need for blood donations, stating that emergencies often require a sufficient blood supply. Citizens are encouraged to take part in blood donation camps in their area.

Officers Present During the Meeting

Among the key officials present during the strategic meeting were:

  • DSP Kuldeep Beniwal
  • Naib Tehsildar Bansi Lal
  • BDPO Samita
  • Market Committee Secretary Satbir Rawish
  • Municipality Secretary Jitendra
  • SDO Ajmer Singh
  • SDO Inderraj Panwar

Their presence reinforced the administration’s collective commitment to maintaining public safety and preparedness.

Strong Coordination and Quick Response Required

The SDM stressed that inter-departmental coordination is crucial. Each official must ensure the flow of verified information and not let false narratives disrupt peace.

He also emphasized that public communication must be clear, immediate, and consistent to prevent confusion.

Final Message

With changing conditions and potential emergencies, preparedness is the only protection. Installing sirens and loudspeakers, staying on alert, and avoiding rumors will help the administration manage any crisis effectively.

Citizens must cooperate fully and act responsibly.
