Awareness Programs Held Under Seva Pakhwada

Kaithal, September 23 – As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada campaign, Haryana Police organized multiple awareness programs focused on women’s safety, cyber crime prevention, traffic rules, drug abuse, cleanliness, and tree plantation. The key objective is to spread awareness across all sections of society and encourage citizens to stay vigilant about law, safety, and social responsibilities.

Awareness Drives by SHO Dhand and SHO Siwan

Police spokesperson Praveen Shyokand informed that SHO Dhand, SI Rekha, conducted programs at Janata College Kaul, Dhand College, and Faral School. Similarly, SHO Siwan, SI Sunita, held an awareness session in village Khanpur. These events saw large participation from women and girl students.

Focus on Women’s Safety and Cybercrime Prevention

During the programs, police officers provided detailed information on crimes against women, cybercrime threats, and the importance of the Trip Monitoring System. SHO Rekha emphasized that women’s safety is the top priority of Haryana Police. She urged women and students to report any incidents of harassment, abuse, or crime immediately by contacting the police or dialing 112.

“Remaining silent encourages crime. Speak up and take action,” she said.

On cybercrime, officers warned participants not to click unknown links, download suspicious apps, or share personal and banking details with strangers. They highlighted that cybercriminals use new tricks daily, making vigilance crucial.

Trip Monitoring System for Safer Travel

The police also explained the Trip Monitoring System, a technology-driven tool that ensures safer travel for women and students. It allows family members to track journeys and alerts police in case of emergencies, ensuring swift help.

Women and Students Express Confidence

Participants, especially women and students, shared their experiences during the sessions. They expressed that such police initiatives boost their confidence and sense of security. Many appreciated Haryana Police for taking proactive steps and pledged to follow safety measures, cyber-awareness practices, and social responsibilities in daily life.
