SP Aastha Modi Conducts Inspection in Guhla-Cheeka

In response to continuous rainfall and the rising water level of the Ghaggar River, Kaithal Superintendent of Police (SP) Aastha Modi visited the Guhla-Cheeka area on Thursday. She personally inspected the situation at several points along the river and reviewed the safety arrangements.

Direct Interaction with Villagers

During the inspection, SP Aastha Modi interacted with local residents to understand their concerns. She assured them that the Kaithal administration and Haryana Police are fully prepared to provide assistance and security. Her presence brought confidence to the flood-affected villagers.

Police and Administration on Alert

SP Modi emphasized that Haryana Police is always ready for the safety and cooperation of the public. Additional police forces have been deployed in sensitive areas to ensure quick response in case of emergencies. The district control room has been made operational 24/7, enabling residents to contact authorities at any time for help.

Appeal to Residents: Do Not Panic

Appealing to the public, SP Aastha Modi urged residents not to panic. She requested them to rely only on official updates from the district administration and not fall for false information circulating on social media. She also warned that strict legal action will be taken against those spreading rumors related to floods.

Preventive Measures and Monitoring

The SP directed the officers present to increase monitoring at sensitive points along the Ghaggar River. She instructed that timely alerts be given to residents if the water level rises and arrangements be made to shift them to safer locations if needed.

24×7 Vigilance by Police-Administration

Assuring the people of Kaithal district, SP Aastha Modi said that the administration and police are on full alert, working round the clock to protect lives and property. She reiterated that all necessary measures are in place to handle any emergency situation effectively.
