SP Upasana Inspires Youth on National Unity Day at DAV Police Public School

Students Motivated on Unity, Drug-Free Living, and Cyber Safety

Kaithal, October 30 — As part of the state-wide celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Haryana Police organized special programs under National Unity Day. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police (SP) Upasana visited DAV Police Public School, Kaithal, where she interacted with students and spread awareness on national unity, drug de-addiction, and cyber safety.

Police spokesperson stated that during her address, SP Upasana highlighted the inspiring life of Sardar Patel, calling him the architect of India’s unity. She reminded students that Patel integrated 562 princely states into one nation, laying the foundation of a strong and united India.

“Youth are the foundation of a strong and progressive nation. If our young generation stays disciplined, drug-free, and aware, India’s unity and integrity will always remain strong,” she said.

Awareness Through Competitions and Interaction

The event featured a poster-making competition on “Drug Awareness” and a quiz competition on “National Unity and Our Constitution.” Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing creativity and awareness.

SP Upasana personally honored the winners with appreciation certificates and medals. She also recognized DAV students who achieved excellence in sports competitions, motivating them to continue their efforts for personal and national growth.

Cyber Safety: Smart Use of Technology

SP Upasana cautioned students against the misuse of mobile phones and social media, noting that technology, while useful, can also lead to serious risks if misused.

“Cybercriminals exploit social media and fake links to trap innocent users. Never share personal details or click on unknown links,” she advised.

She encouraged students to be responsible digital citizens, always following cyber safety guidelines to protect themselves and others.

Commitment to Unity and Awareness

At the end of the event, all students, teachers, and police officers took a pledge to uphold national unity, support a drug-free society, and ensure safe digital practices.

Principal Anju Gambhir expressed gratitude to SP Upasana and her team, stating that her motivational interaction helped students understand their duties toward the nation and society.

The event was attended by teachers, police awareness teams, and students, making it a meaningful celebration of India’s unity and values.
