St. John Ambulance Kaithal to Launch “Safety at Your Doorstep” Program Across Kaithal Villages
Kaithal, November 17, 2025
Youth are the strongest pillar of the nation, and their spirit of volunteerism can bring meaningful change to society. This message was delivered by Dr. Raja Singh Jhinger, District Secretary and Gold Medalist Master Trainer of St. John Ambulance International Association (India Branch), Kaithal.
He emphasized that an aware and responsible youth not only ensures a secure life for their family but also contributes significantly to the safety and development of society and the nation.
First Aid Training is Essential for Everyone
While providing life-saving first-aid training, Dr. Jhinger highlighted that first-aid skills have become essential for every individual. He added that only a person trained in practical first-aid can save the life of an injured or distressed individual at the site of an accident.
He appreciated the efforts of the St. John Ambulance International Association, Kaithal, and stated that this training not only motivates youth to help themselves and others in emergencies but also opens doors to employment opportunities.

Youth Trained for Conductor and Driving Licenses
Under the “Safety at Your Doorstep” first aid training Program initiative, 16 youth received basic first-aid and road-safety training required for conductor licenses, while 14 youth received support for driving licenses. Additionally, dozens of local residents were trained in first-aid techniques.
World-Class Training to Prepare Youth for Emergencies
Dr. Jhinger stated that under the guidance of National President Dr. Rajpal Poonia (New Delhi) and with government support, first-aid training programs are being organized at the village level.
The world-class modules—covering first-aid, CPR, AED use and more—aim to equip youth and children with skills to respond confidently during disasters and emergencies.
Local Leaders Appreciate the Initiative
Hansu Majra village Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh Kamboj and social worker Ramkrishan praised the association’s efforts, stating that this initiative provides life-saving training and employment-related conductor license training at the village level itself. This saves both time and money for unemployed youth.
They thanked Director Dr. Rajpal Poonia and Dr. Jhinger, requesting that the association continue the “Safety at Your Doorstep” program across every village.
