Cheeka, August 7:
Excitement is running high among school students as preparations are in full swing for the upcoming sub-division level Independence Day celebrations. Children from various schools are enthusiastically and diligently rehearsing for the grand event.
The celebration will be held at the Government Adarsh Sanskriti Senior Secondary School Ground in Cheeka, with administrative preparations currently underway. Continuous rehearsals are being conducted to ensure a flawless presentation of every program scheduled for the day.
To make the event more vibrant and culturally rich, students are preparing with the guidance and support of their teachers and parents, focusing on special patriotic themes.

Rehearsals for cultural performances filled with patriotic spirit are being conducted at the auditorium of Bhavani Mandir, Cheeka. Participating schools include:
- Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Cheeka
- Indian Heights International School, Cheeka
- Xavier International Academy, Cheeka
- A.V. Vidya Mandir, Cheeka
- S.D. Senior Secondary School, Cheeka
- Kohinoor International Academy, Tatiana
- Sardar Pritam Singh Memorial International School, Badsui
In addition, multiple schools are preparing for march pasts and PT shows at the Government Senior Secondary School Ground, Cheeka.
The final rehearsal will take place on August 13, ahead of the main event. Haryana Police and NCC contingents are also practicing regularly to present an impressive march past.
The preparations are being overseen by several school principals and teachers including Principal Sanjay Kumar, Charanjeet Kaur, Rajiv Kochar, Rajesh Sharma, and Dinesh Kumar, who were present along with participating students during the rehearsals.
