Committee Meeting Held for Festival Preparations

Cheeka, August 12 – Shri Bhavani Seva Samiti of Shri Bhavani Temple, Cheeka, held a meeting today in the temple office under the chairmanship of President Kuldeep Majra. The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, with specific duties assigned to committee members.

Three-Day Grand Krishna Janmashtami Celebration

President Kuldeep Majra announced that the festival will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion. This year, a special three-day Shri Krishna Janmotsav will be organized, featuring the Shri Brajeshwari Leela Mandal, Swami Bharat Bhushan Ji & Party from Vrindavan Dham, including well-known TV artists. The group will depict the divine pastimes of Lord Krishna through captivating tableaux and devotional bhajans.

Social Service Initiatives Alongside Festivities

In addition to the religious celebrations, the committee is continuing its social service efforts. Ward No. 1’s cremation ground, Swarg Dham, is under the committee’s care, with regular maintenance and improvements. During the meeting, members unanimously passed a proposal to beautify Swarg Dham and install a statue of Lord Shiva there.

The meeting saw the participation of several prominent members, including Rajeev Sharma, Bhushan Sharma, Balbir Saini, Moti Ram Garg, Krishna Dhiman, Harjinder Vicky Jangra, Rajpal Rawish, Praveen Garg, Harpal Sharma, Subhash Sharma, Jaykishan Verma, Vijay Sharma, Pawan Bindal, Gurmeet Sida, Mukesh Sheli, and Ajay.
