Kaithal, March 25 – Under the “Drug-Free Haryana” campaign, the district police are actively spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs. On the instructions of SP Rajesh Kalia, awareness programs are being conducted across Kaithal district to educate people about the dangers of drug abuse.

As part of this initiative, a police team consisting of Inspector Ramlal, ASI Om Prakash, HC Sunil Kumar, and Home Guard Shamsher Singh has been visiting various places, including Sadarhedi, Balbehda, Cheeka, Sair, Harigarh Kingan, and Pidhal. They are informing men, women, and children about the risks of drug addiction and urging the public to support this noble cause.

SP Rajesh Kalia emphasized that drug addiction is a major threat to society. To eliminate it completely, village councils, social organizations, and youth clubs must take the lead. Every individual should contribute to the police-led “Drug-Free Society” campaign, turning it into a mass movement.

The Kaithal police are cracking down on drug traffickers while also encouraging youth to participate in sports and other activities to stay away from drugs. However, public cooperation is essential to ensure the success of this mission. For a better future for young people, everyone must unite against drug addiction and work towards eradicating it.

The police are not only taking strict action against drugs but also helping victims recover by supporting their treatment. SP Kalia urged the public to actively participate in this campaign, avoid protecting those involved in drug-related crimes, and take a pledge to make society drug-free. The first step starts at home—parents should instill good values in their children to keep them away from drugs and contribute to building a healthy society.
