Guhla Cheeka: The Agriculture Department will distribute summer moong seeds to farmers at a 75% subsidy, according to Dr. Kanchan Sharma, Deputy Director of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department. She shared this information while addressing the media at her office.

Farmers can purchase the subsidized seeds through Haryana Seed Development Corporation (HSDC) sales centers. To avail of this scheme, farmers must pay 25% of the seed cost in advance.

Dr. Sharma informed that interested farmers must register on the ‘AgriHaryana.gov.in’ portal by April 20. Each registered farmer can receive seeds for up to 3 acres of land from HSDC sales centers. However, if field inspections reveal that the seeds were not sown, the farmer will have to return the 75% subsidy amount.

She warned that failing to comply with this condition will disqualify the farmer from availing benefits of agricultural schemes on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal for one year.
