Kaithal, April 27 — Deputy Commissioner Preeti announced that wheat procurement is running smoothly across Kaithal district. Till the recent day, a total of 6,76,708 metric tons of wheat has been procured through various agencies. This smooth operation ensures that farmers are getting timely support and services during the peak season.

2,22,032 metric tons were procured by the Department of Food and Supplies.
2,79,272 metric tons were bought by HAFED (Haryana State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation).
1,75,404 metric tons were handled by the Haryana Warehousing Corporation.
