Kaithal Prepares for Smooth and Secure NEET Exam
With NEET UG scheduled for May 5, Kaithal’s District Commissioner (DC) Preeti has issued strict instructions to ensure smooth and secure conduct of the examination. Over 1,600 students will appear at four designated exam centers across the district.
The DC emphasized the need for all departments, including police and education, to maintain the highest level of vigilance and preparedness.
Security and Fairness are Top Priorities
Addressing a meeting after a video conference led by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, DC Preeti told officials that no room should be left for cheating or misconduct.
She instructed that all arrangements at the exam centers must comply with National Testing Agency (NTA) guidelines. These include proper frisking of candidates, security at strong rooms, and safe transport of answer sheets.
Strong Coordination Between Departments
All departments were told to work in coordination. DC Preeti directed the Police Department to deploy forces not only outside the centers but also near residential rooftops close to the exam venues.
This measure aims to prevent any form of external interference or unauthorized support during the exam.
Pre-Exam Facility Checks
Before the exam day, all exam rooms, doors, windows, and basic infrastructure at each center will be inspected. Officials have been ordered to ensure everything is in working condition.
Proper lighting, ventilation, drinking water, and emergency supplies must be in place. There should be no last-minute lapses.
Staff Vigilance and Electronic Restrictions
The DC issued a stern warning to the exam staff:
“All frisking staff must be properly verified. No staff or candidate shall carry any electronic device inside the exam center.”
Instructions have also been given to ensure tight control over entry and exit points at each center.
NTA and Flying Squads on Alert
Special NTA-appointed flying squads will visit centers to supervise operations. In addition, duty magistrates assigned by the district will be present at each center.
These teams will ensure all guidelines are followed strictly and transparently.
Safe Transport of Answer Sheets
DC Preeti stressed the need for secure collection and transfer of answer sheets after the exam. They must be sent to the strong room as per NTA’s defined process.
Any negligence in this area will attract strict action.
Exam Supervisors Must Remain Alert
Center Superintendents and Supervisors have been instructed to remain fully alert throughout the exam duration. Their conduct will directly impact the exam’s integrity.
DC Preeti emphasized that no negligence will be tolerated and urged them to take their responsibilities seriously.
1,634 Students, 4 Centers in Kaithal
District Nodal Officer Kapoor Singh confirmed the NEET exam will be conducted at the following four centers:
- Government Girls Senior Secondary School, near Geeta Bhawan
- Government Senior Secondary School, Committee Chowk
- Navodaya Vidyalaya, Titaram
- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Government College, Kaithal
A total of 1,634 candidates will appear in the district.
He assured that preparations are complete and all guidelines from the NTA have been fully implemented.
Message to Students
The DC and Nodal Officer both appealed to students:
“Follow NTA’s instructions carefully. Stay calm and focused. Do not bring any banned items. Arrive on time and carry valid ID proof.”
This ensures the exam proceeds peacefully and without unnecessary interruptions.
Conclusion: Commitment to Fairness and Safety
Kaithal’s administration is taking every possible step to ensure the NEET exam is conducted smoothly, fairly, and safely.
From surveillance to staff monitoring, no aspect has been left unattended. Officers across departments are working together with one goal — a cheating-free, student-friendly examination environment.
