Kaithal Police Tightens Grip on Crime
Following SP Aastha Modiโs directive, Kaithal Police is swiftly acting on criminal activities. In recent days, multiple arrests have been made. These include theft from towers, a violent snatching case, a liquor smuggler, and a fugitive in a brawl case.
Tower Equipment and Battery Theft Case Solved
Acting under strict orders, CIA-1’s ASI Rajiv Kumar and team made progress in a pending theft case. The incident occurred in the Kalayat police station area. Tower equipment and 24 battery cells were stolen from Choushala and Khark Pandwa villages.
The complaint came from Ranbir Singh, a supervisor at RS Security, which manages Indus Mobile Towers. Based on his report, a case was registered at Kalayat station. The suspect, Ali from Jindโs Bhiwani Road, was already in jail for another offense. After obtaining a production warrant, police formally arrested him. He is now in judicial custody.
Violent Snatching Case: Second Accused Caught
In another success, CIA-1 has arrested Praveen alias Peeni of Cheeka. He was involved in a knife attack and snatching incident. The crime took place on April 28. Two masked men on a motorcycle attacked Sunny and his brother, who were returning from their shop. The attackers snatched two bags, cash, mobile phones, and shop keys.
Earlier, police had arrested co-accused Ravi from Sanjay Basti, Cheeka. On May 5, he was taken on remand. During investigation, he attempted to escape. He pushed EHC Rakesh from a height to flee. Police registered a new case and quickly re-arrested him from Kharoudi village.
Raviโs interrogation led to Praveenโs identification. On May 8, police presented Praveen in court and secured two-day remand for further inquiry.
17 Bottles of Illegal Liquor Recovered
The crackdown on liquor smuggling also bore fruit. SI Surender Singh and PSI Rajat of Siwan Police raided a house after a tip-off.
