Kaithal Murder Case: Husband Held for Wife’s Death

Kaithal, June 2 –
In a tragic incident that has shaken the local community, police from the Titaram police station have arrested a man for allegedly strangling his wife to death following a family dispute. The accused, Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Sega village, was taken into custody after a swift investigation by SHO SI Krishan Kumar and his team.

Dispute During Family Wedding Turns Fatal
According to the police spokesperson, the matter came to light after a complaint was filed by Bachan Singh, a resident of Patra in Patiala district, Punjab. Singh stated that he has four daughters and one son, two of whom were married into Sega village.

On May 15, Singh had organized his son’s wedding, which was attended by his daughter Rajinder Kaur alias Rajni and her husband Ramesh Kumar. During the celebration, a dispute broke out between Rajinder and Ramesh over a song being played on the DJ. The argument escalated, leading to heated exchanges.

Murder Fueled by Grudge
After the argument at the wedding, Ramesh reportedly left the event with his wife, angrily declaring that the insult he suffered would not go unpunished. The couple returned to their home in Sega village that same night.

Holding a grudge over the incident, Ramesh allegedly strangled his wife to death later that night. The shocking act of domestic violence left the family devastated. Bachan Singh filed a formal complaint, leading to the registration of a case at Titaram police station.

Accused to Be Produced in Court
Following the registration of the case, police swiftly acted and arrested Ramesh Kumar from his village. He is currently in custody and will be presented before the court on Monday. Police officials are continuing their interrogation to uncover more details surrounding the incident.

Call for Justice and Public Safety
The case has stirred strong emotions in the community. Locals have expressed deep sorrow over the incident and are demanding strict punishment for the accused. The matter also highlights ongoing concerns about domestic violence and the need for increased awareness and support for women facing abuse.

Police Advisory and Ongoing Investigation
SHO Krishan Kumar emphasized that the investigation will be conducted thoroughly, and all legal steps are being taken to ensure justice is served. Authorities are also urging families to report any signs of abuse early to prevent such tragedies.

As the legal proceedings begin, the case stands as a grim reminder of how unresolved family tensions can escalate into irreversible loss. The community waits for justice for Rajinder Kaur, hoping her story will bring more awareness to the importance of communication and conflict resolution within families.
