Kaithal, July 19 — Under the ongoing anti-drug initiative led by SP Aastha Modi, the district police continue to take strict action against drug traffickers while also raising public awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. As part of this mission, the Anti-Narcotics Cell apprehended a drug peddler from the Guhla area and seized 1.26 kilograms of ganja flower and leaves.
Police spokesperson stated that the operation was led by Anti-Narcotics Cell in-charge SI Rajbir Singh and SI Joginder Singh. The team was on routine patrol near village Chakku Ladana when they received a tip-off. The informer revealed that Ranjit Singh, a resident of Kangthali, had been involved in selling ganja for a long time. He was reportedly traveling from village Dhamtan Sahib carrying a consignment of ganja on an unnumbered motorcycle.
