Background of the Case
According to the police spokesperson, Ramkumar, a resident of Pammuwala village in Yamunanagar district, filed a complaint stating that on July 3, he and his friend Jaspreet were traveling by bus from Kurukshetra to Kaithal for personal work. Upon getting off the bus at Pabnawa village, they were approached by three unknown youths armed with sticks.
The attackers began assaulting Jaspreet with sticks, causing serious injuries to his head and body. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene, threatening to kill them. A case was immediately registered at Dhanda Police Station.

Mistaken Identity Led to the Assault
On the day of the incident, Rohit’s friends spotted Jaspreet at Kurukshetra bus stand and mistakenly believed him to be Harry. They informed Rohit, who allegedly instructed them to follow and teach the person a lesson.
