Independence Day Rehearsals Begin with Enthusiasm in Cheeka

As India prepares to celebrate its 79th Independence Day, the students of Cheeka are actively participating in cultural rehearsals for the Subdivision-level celebrations. The event is scheduled to take place at the grounds of Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Cheeka.

Administrative preparations for the ceremony have already commenced, ensuring a flawless celebration on August 15.


SDM Reviews Progress and Gives Guidelines

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Captain Parmesh Singh recently chaired a meeting with officials from various departments. He issued important directives to ensure smooth execution of the event. The SDM emphasized that no detail should be overlooked and all segments of the program must be rehearsed thoroughly.


Cultural Programs Underway with Full Spirit

On Monday, school students gathered at Bhavani Temple auditorium to rehearse various cultural performances. Students from several schools participated, including:

  • Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Cheeka
  • Indian Heights International School, Cheeka
  • Xavier International Academy, Cheeka
  • A.V. Vidya Mandir, Cheeka
  • S.D. Senior Secondary School, Cheeka
  • Kohinoor International Academy, Tatiana
  • Sardar Pritam Singh Memorial International School, Badsui

Each group showcased enthusiasm while practicing dances, patriotic songs, and skits, all under the supervision of expert instructors.


March Past and PT Show in Full Swing

At Government Senior Secondary School, Cheeka, students are also rigorously practicing March Past and PT displays. The highlight of the celebrations will include synchronized performances by NCC cadets and Haryana Police personnel, who are preparing with discipline and dedication.

The final rehearsal for the Independence Day function will be held on August 13 at the same venue, ensuring every performance is perfected before the main event.


Active Involvement of Teachers and Coordinators

The preparations have been a combined effort of teachers, trainers, and school officials. Among the key coordinators present during the rehearsal were:

  • Principal Sanjay Kumar
  • Principal Charanjeet Kaur
  • ICA Rahul Sharma
  • Rajesh Sharma
  • Dinesh Kumar

They were joined by teachers and students from participating schools, all working in unison to make the event a grand success.
