Say No to Drugs, Shape Your Life: Kaithal Police Awareness Campaign

Police Continue Anti-Drug Drive Across Villages

Kaithal, September 7:
Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police (SP) Aastha Modi, the Kaithal Police anti-drug campaign is being actively carried out across the district. As part of the drug awareness drive in Kaithal, special police teams are visiting rural areas, schools, colleges, public places, and community spaces to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

Police spokesperson stated that the awareness teams are consistently engaging with residents, urging them to stay away from narcotics. They highlighted how drugs hollow out the body, destroy mental and physical health, weaken family bonds, and push youth toward crime and a dark future.

Message to Youth: Stay Away from Addiction

The police teams are making a strong appeal to young people to resist peer pressure and stay drug-free. They are encouraging students and villagers to channel their energy into growth, education, and success rather than falling prey to narcotics. Only a drug-free society can ensure progress, happiness, and a brighter future for the youth.

Police Awareness Programs in Villages and Schools

The police awareness programs are led by officers including SI Karmbir, ASI Omprakash, HC Sunil Kumar, Woman Constable Kismat, and SPOs Rajpal and Pradeep Kumar. They are spreading the message that drug traffickers act only for selfish motives and aim to ruin society. Therefore, every citizen has a duty to immediately report cases of drug trafficking or drug abuse to the police.

Helpline Support Through MANAS 1933

As part of the Haryana Police anti-narcotics campaign, residents are being informed about the MANAS helpline 1933, where they can confidentially report drug trafficking. The helpline also provides treatment and counseling facilities to those struggling with addiction. Police have assured that the identity of the informant will be kept completely secret.

SP Aastha Modi: Fight Against Drugs Needs Community Support

SP Aastha Modi emphasized that drugs are not just an individual’s problem but a social evil that endangers future generations. She stressed that while police are taking strict action against drug traffickers, success in this battle is possible only with active community participation.

She appealed to parents to keep a close watch on their children’s friend circles and daily activities. If any signs of addiction appear, timely medical treatment should be sought. She also assured that the youth drug prevention in Kaithal campaign will continue, reaching every village, school, and community center with the message of drug-free living.
