Two Arrested for Grocery Shop Theft in Kaithal
Burglary Reported in Bhusla Village
Kaithal, September 12 – Bhagal police outpost, under Cheeka police station, successfully arrested two accused in a burglary case involving a local grocery shop.
Complainant Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Bhusla village, stated that on September 10, when he opened his shop after ten days, he found the wooden door broken. To his shock, several goods along with cash were stolen.
Stolen Items from the Shop
The thieves had stolen:
- One carton of refined oil
- One carton of Dalda ghee (500g packs)
- One carton of Dalda ghee (1kg packs)
- One carton of mustard oil (Health Bank brand)
- Other goods and ₹2,000 in cash
Following his complaint, the case was registered at Cheeka police station.
Swift Police Action
The investigation was led by Bhagal police outpost in-charge ASI Raghubir Singh, assisted by ASI Jaspal Singh. With prompt action, the police tracked down the culprits, identified as Laddi and Rahul, both residents of Bhusla village.
Recovery of Stolen Goods
During the raid, the police recovered:
- 26 packets of ghee
- 11 packets of refined oil
The recovered goods confirmed their involvement in the theft.
Accused Sent to Judicial Custody
After being apprehended, both Laddi and Rahul were produced before the court. As per court orders, they were sent to judicial custody.
